Title: Avidemux 2.5.6 on Win7Pro32 - wtv files - green display
Post by: Chekov on August 07, 2012, 12:55:13 AM
Hi,

After successfully installing Avidemux 2.5.6 on Windows 7 Pro 32 bit and then running the app and opening a wtv file created with Media Center with Avidemux, the file is indexed, but the video is green!?  I've tried this with 2 different files, but get the same result.  What's the problem and how do I fix it?

Thanks.

Can you upload a small sample of video (5 seconds/ max 20 MB) causing this behavior? To rapidshare (non pro is non paying) (https://www.rapidshare.com/) or similar service and provide a link to it.

Hi Jan,

OK, uploaded 2 files to RapidShare:
- wtv - displays green in Avidemux - https://rapidshare.com/files/1408176576/Test%20recording.wtv
- dvr-ms - Win7 converted of same file to this format.  Causes Avidemux to crash - https://rapidshare.com/files/2115495985/Test%20recording%20-%20DVRMS.dvr-ms

Regards.

2.6 wont read these either. Definite answer might be up to the developers? Currently not supported?
Other solution mentioned previously: This Is It; WTV to AVI or DVR-MS to AVI Conversion (http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php?topic=7540.msg42434#msg42434)

Many thanks for checking into this and bringing me up to speed.
Please accept my apologies for bothering the community with this.
I had assumed that since Avidemux runs on Windows 7 that it would support its native formats.

Best regards.
