Firstly, apologies if this has already been asked or there's a tutorial in the forum already, I couldn't find either.
Simple question: if I have idx files for a movie, how do I convert to srt? I've followed these short instructions (http://margjakob.net/2011/04/mac-os-x-sub-to-srt-another-app/) but am unsure what to select or enter when asked for 'Output to srt file'. The only files I have are the container (avi) and idx. No other subs.
Can someone help please?

output to would indicate you give it a filename for the new file to be saved as?
