Title: Very new to this - a silly question probably
Post by: viva4 on January 08, 2013, 04:19:50 AM
I am very new to using Avidemux.  I had downloaded 2.6 eagerly because I realized that it was newer than the 2.5.2 version I had was not the most recent version.

In trying to add audio I had some problems and then I saw that 2.6 was experimental?  Is that correct?

I tried to add the audio with the older version (which I am also new to) and things worked wonderfully - easy, fast - perfect!

So, I wanted to check - 2.6 is still experimental?  Is that right?

The problem I had was that the mp3 audio files I added didn't play for 4s into my video.  This was not a problem with 2.5.2.

Is there someone or somewhere I should/could report this?  Or is there a different way to add audio that I'm missing with 2.6?

Thank you.

Avidemux 2.6 is marked as a stable release, so using it should be the better choice for most people. Adding a second audio should work as it does in 2.5.2. Which audio codec did you try to use in which container format?
