Title: Using B-Frames as reference causes stuttering
Post by: jnaymie on March 09, 2013, 11:17:30 AM
Like the subject says, my videos seem to have some stuttering when I enable B-Frames as Reference in the Frame tab under Configure, at least when played VLC. I would like to enable it as the wiki guide says it improves quality and is not recommended to disable. Is VLC the problem, could it be the way I am encoding the video or something else?

Jnaymie, what container do you use ?

Because for example, AVI don't support B-frames. And the resulting are "stuttering" vids.
