First of all, thank you very much for this tool. I have stumbled upon an issue and need some expertise.
I just used avidemux to split a mp4 video file(actually to get only one part of the video) and it did the job, however when I play the clip both of my preferred players (km player and media player classic home cinema) show incorrect duration, like 12 hours when the clip is actually 2 minutes long. MediaInfo also shows the incorrect duration. Another problem is, the clip won't show a thumbnail in windows explorer.
What could be causing these problems and how can I rectify them?

So sorry for not searching before opening the topic and for not experimenting more with the application.
I have managed to rectify the issues with changing the video output to mpeg4AVC and the output format to MP4 muxer.
