Title: Video & audio fader
Post by: xyzuvw on April 09, 2013, 03:40:37 PM
Is it possible to make video and sound attenuation at the end of the movie?
Avidemux has a fade filter for video, but it doesn't influence on sound.

Have you ever found the answer to your question? I am a newbee to avidemux and I am trying to fade in and out both video and audio. Found the video fader fitler but not an audio one.
Thanks.

I export audio track (drag/drop on audacity). Apply audio fade out in audacity. And replace original original track in avidemux with the newly exported audacity audio track.

It is a difficult and inconvenient way. In this case it is simpler to use video editing programs. But it would be good to have such simple opportunity in avidemux.

Yes it would be simpler, but until the requested change is happening ...

I often wish an inbuild audio fade feature was available as well.
Its seems a fair suggestion for consideration in due course.
