I'm not sure it's the good topic but it may be :

I'm using Avidemux 2.6.8 on Debian GNU/Linux 64 bits and it doesn't match FreeDesktop directory specs

As a GNOME user, all my applications already match it (see metabug here https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=523057)

FreeDesktop directory specs is very conveninet for a lot of reasons, especially when you have to back up your system, you can choose to back up only datas, or datas+config etc.
