Avidemux 2.6.6 just won't launch, I'm not sure what to do. I'm on OS X 10.8.5. I've tried several different versions and builds, same thing happens. Bouncy icon to crash report.
Any ideas?

If you wanna go the Homebrew way of installation, it should work:
