Title: opencv filter - specifically superres

I would like to use the OpenCV superres functionality to improve video resolution. Has anyone tried integrating Avidemux and OpenCV? Is there a reason I should not do this as a video filter?

The only tricky part is how much it is tied to the video card
If not, should not be too hard

CUDA falls into the "link to video card" problem
