Seeing how VP8/WebM decoding is already supported, surely it isn't blasphemous to suggest support for decoding VP9...
Great suggestion, I have been stuck trying to encode to webm.
Do you have a suggestion for another product that might work with webm? I would love if Avidemux or I could add it.
Jon
Decoding, yes. Encoding in WebM is a waste of time.
Even in Adobe, rendering in WebM requires a separate plugin* & still takes x20 times longer than MP4, so that fact & the general absence of renderers elsewhere suggests to me that its days are numbered.
I'm already telling clients I don't do WebM as it's not worth it for them. (One job that the client wants next day, according to tests, would take over 6 days continuous rendering in WebM. :o)
