Title: How to find out (and set) the current output resolution?
Post by: pstein on March 30, 2015, 03:27:53 PM
I dragged a MKV video with a source resolution of 1280x720 onto Avidemux.

I wanted to re-encode it with a lower bitrate and codec AVC/H.264.

Much to my surprise the output video has a resolution of 1920x1080!!!

Why this?

I never told Avidemux to change resolution.

Where can I see the current output resolution in Avidemux? And where can I adjust it?

Check by pressing (i) info icon when that video is loaded.
Resizing is done by applying filter.
Search for config2 file in folder related to avidemux. Delete that one and see if this still happens.
