I downloaded and installed new Avidemux v2.6.9v2
As installation option I deselect (according to default) not to install cmdline interface.
After installation I started avidemux "as usual".
Much to my surprise every time now some warning popups appear:
"The program can't start because libADM_UI_Cli6.dll" is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.
There is no such file on my whole computer. Where is it?
I guess it is command line interface related "...Cli..." but not installed because of the deselected cmdline option.
This is obvisouly a bug.
Please fix it.
Thank you
Peter
Perhaps you should install with cmdline interface and the option not to install should perhaps not be presented.
On linux I always install these:
avidemux3-core-2.6.9-YYMMDD-Linux
avidemux3-plugins-COMMON-2.6.9-YYMMDD-Linux
avidemux3-qt4-2.6.9-YYMMDD-Linux
avidemux3-plugins-QT4-2.6.9-YYMMDD-Linux
avidemux3-cli-2.6.8-YYMMDD-Linux
avidemux3-plugins-CLI-2.6.9-YYMMDD-Linux
avidemux3-plugins-SETTINGS-2.6.9-YYMMDD-Linux
core + plugins, cli +plugins, QT + plugins and plugin settings.
Not being a windows user this is my guess. Install the cli and see if you still get the popup message:
QuoteThe program can't start because libADM_UI_Cli6.dll" is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.
and report back.
Thank you
It is a packaging bug, simplest is to install the cli part even if you dont use it (it's very small)
