Title: Avidemux crashed when reached 100% of saving mkv file to mp4

I tried to change container of mkv file to mp4. The .mkv file of size 3.7 GB loaded normally into Avidemux. I selected that video is in Copy mode and Audio is changed to aac. Saving video with such parameters went smoothly and when reached 100% Avidemux crashed.
When I opened it again it detected crash file and it recovered mkv file. How can I contribute in order to solve this problem_

there is no any log file in /home/user/.avidemux
folder

Where I can find it?

I have tried to do the same but with .avi as choice. Video was in copy mode, audio was in aac mode without additional configurations and filters. I got file of duration that is twice shorter than original and audio was not in sync.sound but no image. The file was twice shorter than original.

Note: During opening of mkv I was asked to rebuild frame which I confirmed as yes. IN both cases I used the same .mkv file as source.

Are you sure you are using avidemux 2.6 ?
i.e.
avidemux3_qt4 /avidemux3_qt5 ?
the 3 is important
