Title: Output Mp4s Stopped Having Audio All of a Sudden
Post by: thartsell on February 13, 2016, 02:07:07 AM
I don't know what happened but I was using avidemux on everything and loved it. The output was quick and the quality was great, but then it just stopped outputting audio with my file. So now all I have is the video, nothing else.

I did try to mess around with the audio settings a bit as I was curious why I couldn't hear the audio scratch as I was editing but I set everything back to what it was when I started tinkering.

Has anyone run into this issue and if so, were you able to fix it?

Thanks,
Todd

Can you now save video with audio?
If not:
- Check avidemux menu audio and select the correct track, if multiple tracks are present?
- Codecs missing?
- Try re-installing? Matching installer for your os?

What happens when you delete the config2 file (ADM starts with initial preferences!)?

Let me start by saying that I work for a large digital media company and this appears to be happening to everyone within my division. My initial thought is that we recently updated our Elemental encoders and I'm beginning to wonder if it is something to do with the actual TS files that are outputted from those encoders.

I will take a look at the two of your suggestions today and see if it makes a difference.

thanks
Todd

A sample file that shows the problem would help too
