I want to save a video as MP4.

As I found out there are two muxers offered in AD:

MP4 muxer
and
MP4v2 muxer

What are the differences?

Are both fully compatible with the main (other) video players like VLC?

Is MP4v2 muxer only a kind of alpha version with compatibility problems?

Sometimes one will take what the other refuses (audio track)
VLC has no problems with both. Sometimes a hardware media player, only works with one (smarttv, ...)
I never looked further into this, as I switched to mkv muxer.
