Title: no audio input
Post by: maudit on May 02, 2016, 09:42:23 AM
Hello! Hi have a file that contains 1 video and 1 audio track :

Video: MPEG-1/2 video (mpgv)
Audio: MPEG Audio layer 1/2 (mpga) stereo 48000 Hz bitrate 128 Kb/s

Why the audio track missing if opened in avidemux (AUDIO OUTPUT = 0 TRACK , Avidemux version 2.6.12 32bit) ?

Thanks ! mAu

Errors in he video file?
Is only that one video file or several?
Try with recent avidemux_2.6.12_r160416_win32.exe: http://www.avidemux.org/nightly/win32/

If urgent try this method: use audacity to extract audio (http://avidemux.org/smif/index.php/topic,16757.msg74691.html#msg74691)
Otherwise provide a small video with the audio track issue (10 seconds duration / max 100 MB)
ps:- Use a free dropbox account, mega or similar webservice (free public access, without registration to download your uploaded video) thank you.

Quite possible that ADM doesn't fully support this kind of material.

If it plays in VLC maybe convert it to a more standard media file.
