Hi All,
I have 2 files, one is kind of raw and the other is already edited by my friend (with some tools I do not know). When trying to open the edited mp4 file, Avidemux gives me a black preview and I cannot play it or anything. Screenshot is attached.
Any idea why? Media info for the failed video:

can't see directly any cause why one would open and to other not?
See if you can rescue the video and re-mux the video with mkvtoolnix gui (https://mkvtoolnix.download/)
Wondering about this:
QuoteDuration : 42 min
Source duration : 6 min
Is there an obvious reason why your problem video has a 'Source duration' that is much shorter than the duration indicated in the overall, the video and the audio listings?
