For win32/win64 using the nightly is a bad idea at the moment
I'll give the green light

Hello mean,
still true that currently it's not recommended to use the nightlies for win32/64?
For understanding, is it by the/a compiler change or by other reasons?

yes, it works fine afaik
(not the ffmpeg31/32 branches)

It should work ~ the same as 2.6.19
