So what happens is - I have a Panasonic GH4 shooting cinema 4k 24fps. it saves as a "MOV" file.

I open it into Avidemux, take a clip using A/B on i-frms
i have tried the following options:

Tried pretty much every one

Please shed some light as to why my cut and saved video has audio which has very rapid chops ( choppy sound)

Please try the latest nightly (http://avidemux.org/nightly/). This issue might have been fixed (likely on Jan 12) since the last release.

Now my .mov quicktime media from GH4 (details on previous post) exports with these settings:

AAC
Output Format:
MP4 Muxer
The result no longer has any issues since using that Latest version of Avidemux.
