Title: Crash when indexing corrupted TS file
Post by: wanou on February 28, 2017, 07:37:50 PM
When loading TS files from a digital video broadcast (DVB), recorder, i frequently get the application crashing during the indexing phase.

I think that when one video or audio stream is corrupted, the app is crashing. A DVB streams get frequently corrupted, due to unstable signal quality, so this bug is very frustrating.

I have theses crashes since a lot of Avidemux versions (many years), and the problem is still unresolved till now.

A corrupt stream is not an avidemux bug. Try improving your dvb-t reception. If not possible switch to satellite.

In a corrupt stream information is lost. There is no way this can be retrived, especially when this happens with a key frame.
