Hi folks,
I was wondering if there's a way to save the default output format in Avidemux. I use this fine app to concatenate MP4 files, and I'd like them to be saved as MP4 as well. However, the default output format is the first in the list (AVI Muxer), and if I forget to change that I'm always being made aware that it's a "bad idea to use it" with MP4 sources (quite rightly so).
I could't find any default saving options under Preferences, perhaps there's a command line switch I can use or something?

The option to save preferred video codec and target container hides in the plain sight in the "Edit" menu.
