Title: How do i record my voice (on top of video)?
Post by: mercury1 on June 14, 2017, 04:22:58 AM
Hi,
I love this app, it's easy to edit video, cut out areas and delete with some easy markers (much easier than adobe's tools).

One possible newbie question or enhancement request - how can i record my voice on top of the video?
The problem with editing the video is that it cuts of my voice that i recorded the first time, so i want to be able to just record my voice again on top.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Avidemux can add a new soundtrack to a video (up to max. total of 4 tracks). How the audio file (16 bit depth please, 24 bit is unsupported) for this track is generated, is not Avidemux' concern. There is plenty of sound recording and editing applications, e.g. Audacity. Finish cutting the video first, record your comments, then mux the new audio into the video with Avidemux.
