I am a new forum member.
Whenever I try to login, the forum appears not to accept my password.
I have to create a new password each time.
I do remember passwords, so I don't think it is my fault.
Is that normal or is there some sort of forum bug?

Most likely this is a browser issue. Firefox 56.0 (64-bit) does ask and remembers saved password. (Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS 64-bit)

I've had some trouble with firefox add-ons during the weekend.
PS: Are you able to identify my browser type?
I had sometimes similar issues with Safari, requiring to reload the page before my credentials got accepted. Never had to create a new password though and never experienced this with Firefox or Chromium.

Perhaps it was a browser problem, after all.
After the latest firefox update, things seem ok.
I certainly hope they stay this way.
I can't say that I ever had trouble login via Firefox in a Windows based system, but try login through Android or tablet device and it is a pain sometimes with access granted after the third or fourth attempt!
