Title: Arranging with Avidemux old archive and maintaining original dates
Post by: avilon on December 20, 2017, 09:48:22 AM
Avidemux Windows is great tool for splitting mp4 videos.

Is there any option to maintain original file date during file save function?

For example I have 5 years old files which i want to split maintaining original dates.

When there is many files, changing date manually is rather annoying.

Or perhaps someone can suggest any 3rd party utility, where dragging files into window changes automatically all newer dates to the oldest one?

set your computer date before processing video, see if that helps/works.

Maybe Nirsoft bulkfilechanger can be pressed to make this easier to do.

Unfortunately, Avidemux doesn't provide any means to handle this sort of metadata at all.
