Title: Differences Output Format "MP4 Muxer" vs "MP4v2 Muxer"?

In drop down menu on the left side there are two MP4 related entries:

MP4 Muxer

and

MP4v2 Muxer

What are the differences between them?

Which is more compatible? to (software) videoplayers?

The main practical difference is that you can't use E-AC3 with the MP4v2 muxer in Avidemux.
