Title: windows x64 installation fails

I can install the win32 version and that runs fine, but for some reason the Avidemux  x64 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 VC++ installations won't complete installation.
The splash screen comes up but then the install process freezes.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro x64.

Any help would be super, Thanks!

Do you mean the UAC prompt? Or already the installer GUI freezes?

Does the installation of a win64 nightly (https://avidemux.org/nightly/win64/) (MinGW cross-compiled Avidemux) succeed like with legacy-compat/win32?

I just tried the avidemux_2.7.3 r190422_win64 nightly build and it installed just fine.
