Title: AV1+Opus muxed in MP4
Post by: Cormy1 on January 24, 2021, 06:20:51 PM
Both AV1 and Opus are supported by the MP4 container, and I have such a file which plays fine in my media players.
But if I import it to Avidemux and try to save it without changing anything I can't because it won't allow opus audio.
I also can't play it back with the opus audio in avidemux.

AV1 is supported in MP4 and can be muxed just fine using Avidemux. OPUS in MP4 is marked as an experimental feature only, at least in 4.2.x FFmpeg we are using. It works indeed for a sample I have and both totem and mpv on my bleeding-edge software-wise desktop are able to play it.

No problem, support added (https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2/commit/05a18d650a52657432ff1dc64de4c763cd62e6ce).
