Title: Update of vsWin64
Post by: Fergar on September 01, 2021, 02:31:41 PM
Hi,

The last update was on July 4, I wanted to know if it will be updated again or no more? It's the one I use because it has the most up-to-date x-264.

Regards

I guess it will, albeit I am not involved in the process.

If you can tolerate currently an older x265, you could build Avidemux for Windows with the latest x264 from the stable branch yourself: https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2/blob/master/cross-compiling.txt (https://github.com/mean00/avidemux2/blob/master/cross-compiling.txt). All you need is a 64-bit Linux system (Fedora, Debian / Ubuntu etc.) with a plenty of storage space and patience to wait a couple of hours. It should work in a VM as well, but will take longer than on bare metal.
