Title: Can I use VBR on x264 or x265?

I can find VBR on Nvidia H264 and Nvidia HEVC, but I can't find on x264 and x265. Is x264 and x265 not support VBR?
So if I want to use VBR, I only can change to Nvidia H264 and Nvidia HEVC?

All rate control modes of x264 and x265 except of the constant bitrate mode (CBR) are VBR modes.

Oh, but "Mediainfo" doesn't show "Bit rate mode: Variable"?
When I using "Nvidia H264 VBR", it will show "Bit rate mode: Variable"
