Neither avidemux 2.8.0 no 2.8.1 appear in Windows 10 "Programs and Features" after installation. Why not?

They do. Using W10 Home. I ran the installation versions of the latest Win64 nightlys

Thanks for responding! I'm glad to see that the issue has been fixed in 2.8.2. However, I am content to stay with 2.8.1 for the time being.
