Title: Feature request: "floating" menu options and display resolution?
Post by: Vygantas on March 18, 2023, 08:44:10 AM
Hi, when dealing with videos of always different / unknown resolutions, adding your cuts and edits, or overlay images is difficulty because you don't know the resolution. So the workaround is to always check resolution first by going to resize, it's not a big time waste, but i wish there was an option just to show opened video resolution in corner or anywhere in the interface so you don't have to go to filters > resize to learn about it.

Also, while you can move OPEN buttons window, you can't seem to "Float' it in the middle or anywhere on a video, so it's faster for you to click rather than going to the top, side or bottom of the software?

Alt-Return opens Information. Easy!

Thank you! Still an extra click and requires closing / opening again for every file, can't be moved as "always show" to toolbars either

I have the latest nightly. I am able to float in middle of video. Not sure I would want to though.

But can you edit with it floating and open new video and have it still open? The extra info bar
