Hi, sorry if this has been posted before.

I'm trying to extract 5.1 AAC audio from an MP4 video (H264), then combine it with another MP4 video (H264).

Firstly, Avidemux extracts the 5.1 AAC as a RAW file, which has been explained elsewhere in this forum.

Then when i try to load the RAW audio file track to the other MP4 video, it reads as "AC3 5 channel".

Trying to save the file using either MP4 or MKV muxer creates errors or a crash-prone video file with missing audio, respectively.

Can anyone help me? I hope i don't need to post screenshots or other info as this problem seems pretty straightforward...

Thanks beforehand for all replies!

It will not work :
1- Avidemux does not support importing AAC
2- RAW AAC file are broken, they need some sort of headers/framing such as ADTS or similar
