Hi,

Can somebody help me with this requirement, pls?

The ultimate idea is to get the start and end time of a clip from a full length video.
Start time can be noted manually by playing the video. But the frame of end time clip should be compared with an existing frame and the accurate end time should be given automatically.

Right now it is stressful to forward the video by 1 frame/sec and watch the clip to identify the end time of the specific part of video.

Thanks in advance.

use mark when clip starts in video and mark at end of clip
B - A gives you then exact duration of marked clip

eh ... use the slider, drag to end of clip.
When you paste start/end of clip: use jog/shuttle:
When you are near use keyboard up/down arrow or and
Hit the exact frame with keyboard left/right arrow or and

another possibility:
  • mark A @ beginning of video
  • mark B @ start of clip
  • press [Ctrl[ [X] simultaneous, all leading video up to start of clip is cut
  • find exact end of clip
  • mark A @ end of clip
  • Go to the last frame (end) by pressing:
  • mark B @ end of video
  • press [Ctrl[ [X] simultaneous, remaining video is cut and only the clip is left now.
  • should show the duration of the clip now.

Hope this was what your looking for?
