Format Problem
« on: July 09, 2012, 07:37:18 PM »
Hello!

I created an intro animation to a youtube user.
He recording bike trips whit his camcorder and he uses Avidemux for editing.
He don't want to change his workflow, but when he try to join the videos the
program makes it messed up. So i decided to convert cobranco.mp4 to same as pict0230.mp4 .
I tried on various apps like premier pro, AE.
But the problem in avidemux remains. I uploaded the files i hope you can help me.

Not sure if this will help you 100%
in avidemux 2.6 load cobranco_mpeg4.avi
now append PICT0230.MP4 with keyboard shortcut [Ctrl][A], change in
Video Output: [Copy] to [Mpeg4 AVC (x264)]
Audio Output: [Copy] to [AAC (lav)]
Output Format: Mkv Muxer.
Now in avidemux menu: File: Save
See result here: https://rapidshare.com/files/831801803/test.mkv
Part of problem is using different:
 containers: AVI <> MP4
 codecs: DIVX <> AVC
So you need somewhere to re-encode to the same target output.
