Hy,

If I want to use x264 with 2 pass, and if the name of the output video contains accents, then the name of files generated by the first pass (xxx.stats and xxx.stats.mbtree) contains special characters instead of the accents. Then, the second pass cannot start and I have the message "Video - Cannot setup codec. Bitrate too low ?".

If I do not use accents it works, but I mention here because it is still a bug.

I have this problem with windows 7 64, with the versions 2.6.1 (8321) - 64-bit, and 8467 - 64-bit.
