Job list says failed but it's running

When I start the jobs in the job list, it immedaitely starts "failing" a couple of jobs, even though the first one is still running, and running fine. I also noticed it opened two avidemuxes pretty much simultaneously, one failing and the other one running.

So what I'm seeing now:
1) Start the jobs
2) avidemux starts and crashes (this is not possbile, because I added it to the queue without it crashing)
3) joblist marks the first TWO jobs as failed
4) avidemux starts and processes the first job fine
5) the THIRD job is in running state, while avidemux is happily processing the first one

How can this even happen? How is this possible??

Using r8882 on Windows XP.
