Hi forum.

If I open a ts-file (or some of them), and save it as ts-file again, it comes out with pixel-errors (art-effects).

Maybe its some of the same errors as discussed in this topic: http://www.avidemux.org/smf/index.php/topic,12725.0.html - The "time-going-back" error.

But to be sure about what the problem is, I have uploaded some test-files.

The original recording file: http://www.145.dk/avidemux/x1_org.ts (Save as...) (50MB)

Next file has just been opened in avidemux, as Copy+Copy+Mpeg TS Muxer (ff) and saved again. No errors saving the file.

The output file comes out with pixel-errors, maybe there are errors in the original file, but they do not show up in the player (Like VLC or WD TV Live), so why after avidemux?

The file from avidemux: http://www.145.dk/avidemux/x1_avidemux.ts (Save as...) (50MB)
Look around position 32sec and 35sec in video.

There are errors about 4 sec. in the video too, but not quite as visible.

Reason?

Thanks

Confirmed, but once again, the file has errors (says ffmpeg). You can remux to mkv with mkvmerge gui (from mkvtoolnix), then it's usable by avidemux without errors, but saving it to TS again won't work properly. Avidemux in general isn't very robust when working with problematic videos, so you'll have to use mkvmerge and/or ffmpeg to clean them up a little.
