Can't change FPS?

Hi, I'm using version 2.6.7 of Avidemux and I seem to be having a problem changing the FPS of my video.

I have 3,792 PNGs that I'm trying to encode in x264 in the MKV container at 24 FPS.

You used to be able to change the frame-rate from 'Video -> Frame Rate...', but this is nowhere to be found in version 2.6.

I've tried using the filters to change the FPS, but I just can't get it to work for the life of me.

Can anyone help me? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.  :'(

2.6 version lacks so many features I'm afraid you're probably doing nothing wrong. Try version 2.5 instead.

^^
I was used to Video->Frame Rate in v2.5, too.
I'm not sure if the new "change FPS" video filter is the right substitute. Any confirmation would be appreciated.
