Create idx2 version 5 index file with avidemux3_cli

Hello!

In my current workflow with avidemux 2.6.4, I generate the index files of TS-files (satellite TV) on my media center (Ubuntu) with avidemux3_cli and subsequently do some cutting with avidemux.exe from Windows. However, this workflow is not possible using Avidemux 2.6.7 from http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/download.html (source for Linux and installer for Windows)

The problem is, that avidemux3_cli on Linux generates idx2 files of version 4 while avidemux.exe on Windows requires version 5 of idx2 files. When I try to load the TS-file from Windows with the index file generated from avidemux3_cli, the GUI throws an error message claiming index file of previous version. When I use avidemux.exe or avidemux_cli.exe for index generation, the TS-file can be loaded as expected. The problem of loading outdated index file is already stated in this thread:

I have also tried to use latest source code from http://www.avidemux.org/nightly/snapshot/ (r9010) for the Linux part with same result.


So my actual question is: Is it possible to create a idx2 index file of version 5 for a TS-file with avidemux3_cli on Linux OS? Maybey I messed something up during installation and still executing version 2.6.4 of avidemux3_cli...

Are you sure you use r9010 on linux ?
Looks like you are still using avidemux_cli or one of the libs from an older version

The _cli and _qt4/exe versions shareg 90% of the  code

I solved my problem.
After some playing around with compilation and installation on my Linux box, I figured out that the problem was that I previously used the --without-plugins argument for compilation and thus components of foregoing version were invoked during runtime. Thanks to mean for the hint!

So the solution is to compile the cli environment with:
