Mean hasn't compiled those latest code revisions as yet.
So keep an eye on the nightlies.
They are updated quickly so the wait will be short.

Cheers.. I assumed this would be the case.. Found the nightly page yesturday and noticed that new versions were avaialble every few days, so I assumed thay my change would be included an upcoming release.

Jan.. Just thinking.. if you are adding 448K support, why not go the whole hog and offer 512, 568 and 640 too? Most other AC-3 encoders offer this and I guess it would be nice if Avidemux had comparable features?

But don't think I am being greedy.. I am just happy to have 448K..

Jan was just reporting!

I think you will have to be happy with asking for and getting 448 Kb.
That setting was also applied to a few other audio encoders for consistency.

The quality of the audio source may even suggest you go lower rather than higher.

Understood.. As I said, I am delighted to get 448K support.. It just keeps my OCD from going into overdrive :)

Cheers.
