Hello, Jason here. HP2000Win8.0x64Home, Is Virtual Memory doing anything for me? Does it even run on mechanical drives?

I changed Virtual Memory to 80000 MB's Page File size on C and it shows it at the top, but on the bottom, (of System Performance Options, Virtual Memory) it shows 687 MB's allocated.(?) Readyboost isn't in context menus nor properties.

Can I take an Enterprise version of Win8.1 and make an external SSD running another Win8.1 multithread? Can I multithread with a Win7 laptop? Both?

How does the available cache work? I'm not seeing like a cache allocation for programs setting. The Performance Meters all show RAM at 44%. Do I need something like CacheManager? or an EmptyStandbyList? RamMap shows a lot but I'm not sure how to go about assigning more (or less) RAM to individual programs.  Is the machine deciding what's best and the processing power vrs. Ram is set here to allow continued use of the machine? Thank you very much! Jason
