Every video I record has a color mismatch when loaded in AVIdemux. If I use Virtualdub, it works fine. Of course, the files play fine too. Media info for a sample file:

File size                                : 353 MiB
Duration                                 : 29mn 48s
Overall bit rate                         : 1 656 Kbps

Capture50 is video output from VirtualDUB.
Capture51 is video output from Avidemux 2.6.

capture is not showing what is going on :( Don't have a reference point (example: red, flesh tones, ...)

Check if you have in Video Decoder - > Configure (click on) -> an opening window "Decoder Options"
select:
[v] Swap U and V

select bottom right hand corner:
[v] Play filtered
play loaded video and see if colours  are showing correctly.

If that option is not available:
In Video Output change [Copy] to [Mpeg4 AVC (x264)]
In [Filters] ->  Colors select Swap UV (double click)

select bottom right hand corner:
[v] Play filtered
play loaded video and see if colours  are showing correctly.

Negative. Colors are still off. Did both swap U and V and the "play filtered" checkmark.

Also capture files show the blue colors as semi brown colors in avidmux...

mean

Would need a short sample, 1 second is enough
Probably inverted blue & red

Could be the way ADM decodes the camstudio lossless codec.

I've seen this kind of thing with a camstudio recorded presentation when played back on windows media player (once!).
Same video played fine in virtual dub.

Did a quick google on this: one suggestion - try using openGL for rendering ADM's display (under preferences!)
