Where is the preview output panel?

Avidemux 2.5.x had a preview output panel next to the main video panel. I'm wondering why it isn't on 2.6.x versions and how can I bring it back?

PS: "Play filtered" option is limited because it works when the video is playing. I want to see the filtered video all the time not only when it's playing.

Not possible, you can not bring this back.
Only when playing with "Play filtered" or in Filter preview.

Thanks for reply. What was the latest AD version that included that preview?

Jan Gruuthuse

2.5.6 is the last that has this preview mode.
see No "output" view

Thanks again. This is clearly a "fixing what is not broken" situation.

@ electro,

ADM 2.5 and ADM 2.6 have an entirely different engine under the hood.
It's not a case of "fixing what isn't broken", its a case ADM 2.6 never had this feature.

OK. And which one is better in your opinion?

AQUAR

I actually still use both.

ADM 2.5 is richer in options for older codecs and is more "featured".
ADM 2.6 is the only one to use for current codecs.

My new media player gets along with AVC so these days its mostly ADM 2.6.
