Hi,

I have problem with audio in .ts HEVC/H265 record from DVB-T2 TV Channel. In VLC I see 2 audio channels (1 original, 1 silent audio description), but in Avidemux is only 1 audio channel (probably silent audio description). I have latest version of Avidemux.

You did use the Avidemux Menu (Top): Audio: Select Track:
In the 'Audio Tracks Configuration' window you can see up to 4 tracks. The [V] enabled are found tracks.
Let us know

1.9 GB is not a sample ;)
Can you record 10 seconds up to one minute max from the DVB-T2 TV Channel?
Most likely this happens just before the switch to main event event. Like cut from (commercial) break. dvb-t(2) can switch in stream from stereo, ... to ac3,... (now guessing this could be going on) thats why sample needed of this.

Jan Gruuthuse

Yes confirmed. Plenty of extra data in that stream. Avidemux does not recognize the 2nd audio track.
ffprobe and MediaInfo info text below:

I'm sorry, I could not make it any shorter now. So you do not need it anymore? Will Avidemux ever be able to work with these audio tracks?

Most likely yes, if the developers recognize the issue and time permitting.

Temporary workaround.
- Remux with mkvtoolnix, 2 audio tracks are now accessible. (https://mkvtoolnix.download/)
- Drag and drop onto Audacity, both audio tracks are there. (https://www.audacityteam.org/)
select the one with 2 audio channels

Audacity has problems to, with the audio: 15 minutes is silent
mkvtoolnix only working solution. for now

Prepared a 300 MB block copy to upload, will follow shortly
dd if=000.ts of=sample_for_avidemux000.ts bs=300M count=1

For developers to test:
1 file: sample_for_avidemux000.ts 300 MB in total ・ Will be deleted on 28 June, 2018

test cz dual audio track

(For info) I didn't use Audacity. I extracted the one of mka track and formatted it into AAC using FormatFactory. In Avidemux, I replaced the silent track with new extracted track and only made a video and audio shift and everything works.

Thank you for the sample. I don't think I'll be able to fix this (but hopefully Mean will be able to step in), Avidemux sees the PID in the PMT, but when looking for AAC extra data, it doesn't find the required marker specific to LATM streams.
