Possible to make a video from still images?
« on: August 07, 2018, 06:07:31 PM »
I have a series of 21 photos that need to be transformed into an animated video for Youtube. I basically created a zoom effect and the final result would be similar to an animated gif but in video format of course. Is this even possible with Avidemux?

This is easily possible if all photos have exactly the same size.

  • Name all photos the same way followed by 00, 01, 02 and so on up to 20 and the filename extension (probably .jpg).
  • Open the first photo with Avidemux to load all of them automatically.
  • Set "Mpeg4 AVC (x264)" as video codec.
  • Apply "Change FPS" filter to slow down the video (source FPS equal 100 will quadruple the duration).
  • Add external audio track if you wish so and save the video.
