New release of Avidemux, same old problem with HEVC video!! I don't hope anymore!
The problem: in the joint-point of video there are artefacts for 2/3 seconds.
Some idea?
Thanks

This problem is not specific to HEVC but to a way some streams are encoded. Generally, video artifacts after a cut indicate that the cut point was not on an IDR (instant decoder refresh) frame and some reference pictures are missing. It is up to the encoder to produce streams which have almost zero IDR frames but rely purely on recovery (i.e. after we have decoded N frames, N+1 will have all references satisfied). Currently, Avidemux can't identify such streams, and if it ever gains this ability, the best it could do would be to refuse to save them in copy mode.

Thank you very much for reply!!!
This problem is ONLY and ALWAYS with HEVC (mp4 or mkv). Editing with AVC is ALWAYS perfect, without encode.
HEVC is the future, is perfect for storage as it is. Now I must re-encode...It's a pity!
Ciao!

This is plain wrong (100% wrong).
