First of all, wrong subforum. This one is for submitting new articles or corrections for existing articles in Avidemux Wiki. At least it was meant to be this, but nobody cares.

Which Avidemux build are you using (as you mention "wmp", it looks like you run it on Windows)? It should be either the last release or, preferably, the latest nightly:

VC++ 64 bits buillds for Windows 7 and newer
MinGW 64 bits builds for Windows 7 and newer
MinGW Legacy Compatibility 32 bits builds for Windows XP and newer

Do you mean by "rerendered" re-encoded? If yes, which codec and which container?

Quoteand would like to combine it with another file.

Do you mean by "combine" append it to another video (or vice versa)? Please be aware that if you want to avoid re-encoding the video the second time, the codec and codec parameters of all appended videos must perfectly match the codec and codec parameters of the video loaded in Avidemux first.

Quotethe rerendered file plays fine in vlc and wmp but when i import it back into avidemux it starts at a bit over 4 seconds in and i can't jump back.

If the problem persists with the latest nightly, please compress (zip or 7z) and attach admlog.txt from %localappdata%\avidemux\ from the session when you loaded that re-encoded video into Avidemux to your reply.
