Hello,

I need to mix and match video and audio from video files in different frame rates.
I'm about to change the video frame rate, of one file,  from 23.976fps to 24fps.
I suspect the conversion will take a long time.
Am I wasting my time? Will I need to make special arrangements for the audio?

Thank you

How should this be related to Avidemux Wiki?  ???

Are you sure 24 fps is not misdetected? While being perfectly legal and widely used in cinema, 24000/1001 ("23.976") is a much, much more common value for video. What does mediainfo report?

This entirely depends on video resolution and duration, chosen codec, encoder, encoder settings and last but not least computing power and hardware acceleration.

This entirely depends on what you mean by "mix and match".

If you use the "resample fps" filter, at least the duration of the audio may stay the same. For any more in-depth recommendations, one needs to know what exactly you are going to do with the videos.
