Running ver 2.8 on Win11 machine.

I seem to recall, though it's been awhile, that one could choose to remove soft-coded subs from vids using Avidemux. But I can't seem to find a way to do this in the current version. Am I mis-remembering, overlooking a setting, or??

Thanks!

There was and is no support for soft subtitles as subtitle tracks in Avidemux, they are always lost (unconditionally dropped) when a video is exported / saved. Avidemux includes a video filter to hardcode subtitles from an .ass or .srt (via conversion in .ass format) file into the video track, that's all.
