Dreambox recorded videos

Dear Avidemux-ers!

First post, and first of all I want to thank you for your fantastic work with this amazing tool!

I've a Dreambox Satellite receiver (STB) on which I can record any TV program on .ts format.
Recently I've recorded a TV show on a HD sat channel. I want to crop some parts of the show using Avidemux, however I can't due my Avidemux is not working properly. I mean, when I opened the video and start playing it the sound is OK but the video is slow, so video and audio doesn't match. Also when I tried to set marks (A) (B) to crop the video, it simply doesn't work.

However if I play the film on VLC or other media player, it works perfectly.
I'm totally clueless. Here you have details about the film and about my system:

Please try version 2.6 on computer x86 for MPEG-TS in HD format.

Thank you Jan.
The latest release of Avidemux seems to be quite unstable on my PC. I could crop the video, however when I played the cropped video it wasn't good.
Let's keep trying.

you need to explain more what you're doing on what system and os and what version of avidemux and revision.
By crop do you mean cutting out excess like black borders or resize ....
What steps are you taking?
select mark A only with keyboard up or down arrow only
never mind player in avidemux (very basic) , as long as video is playing well on other players,
